Despite embarking on their first-ever continental adventure, Crystal Palace are learning very quickly. Missing star players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a commanding result that virtually secures them a place in the Conference League playoffs.
A further victory in their upcoming match against Finnish KuPS ought to be sufficient to seal direct entry to the last 16, especially after a previous setback against Strasbourg.

The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt strike off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then blazed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still room for development in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, capping an otherwise positive night for the visiting side.
