The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
